Aspen Pet Valet is happy to recommend the following Kennels in the Roaring Fork Valley. There are two recommendations Skyline Ranch and The Barnyard Kennels.  The Aspen Animal Shelter provides sanctuary for the homeless dogs and cats of Aspen, Pitkin County and beyond.

Aspen Animal Shelter

The Aspen Animal Shelter is a privatized, for-profit, self-sustaining, no-kill shelter which is primarily supported by income created via The Aspen Boarding Kennel. The shelter provides sanctuary for the homeless dogs and cats of Aspen, Pitkin County and beyond. We do house the occasional bird or rabbit as well. Each homeless pet is neutered, vaccinated and micro-chipped prior to adoption. Volunteers are welcomed, and encouraged, walk the dogs, brush the cats, or even wash the dirty bowls.

The Aspen Animal Shelter is open every day of the year from 7a.m.– 6 p.m. Please call us at 970.544.0206, or email us at

The BarnYard

The BarnYard offers care for both small and large animals. Services include daycare, boarding, grooming, pet transportation, at home care, extended attention and recovery care, retail and most importantly personalized services to meet your specific needs!
